The Master SCUBA Diver certification gives you the chance to hone your diving skills to the level of a
NAUI professional leader. Through the Master SCUBA Diver certification, you will gain in-depth knowledge that will
establish you as a recognized authority in your diving club or group. This is an opportunity to dive in settings that
will test your abilities to their limit while enhancing and expanding your dive capabilities.
The course: The Master SCUBA Diver course takes your knowledge and competence to the next level.
The course is comprised of approximately 23 hours of academic instruction, 6 hours of confined water instruction, and
8 open water dives. Required diving activities will include: emergency procedures and rescue, simulated decompression diving,
limited visibility (or night) diving, underwater navigational diving, search and recovery-light salvage skills, and elective dives.
Requirements: You must be at least 15 years of age and have NAUI Advanced Diver certification or the equivalent.
Successful demonstration of adequate student knowledge and capability may be required by the instructor before any open water training.
