Let Rum Runner take you to new and exciting new dive destinations or revisit your old favorites.
We like variety so we plan to go in many directions. Whether you prefer warm sunny Caribbean beaches,
gin clear waters of the Florida springs or exploring a new wreck. Local, regional or distant, we've got
something for everyone.
The "Graveyard of the Atlantic" - Arguably one of the top ten dive locations in the world. Every manner of wreck is available,
even German U-boats, most within reach of the recreational diver, some as yet uncharted. Plus with the convergence of the north
Atlantic current with the Gulf Stream there is a wide variety of marine life and diving conditions. All within a 90 minute drive
from the shop to the dock. Any local diver who doesn't take advantage of this diversity is missing out on a great dive opportunity.
We regularly setup weekend one day and two day charters, call the shop for the latest schedule and availability.
Interesting diving is available in South Carolina, Georgia and, of course Florida.
If you like to find artifacts and fossils come dive the Cooper River. Reduced visibility diving isn't for everyone, but pulling up a 6" megalodon
tooth that is millions of years old or colonial, civil war and native American artifacts can make your day -
check out www.divethecooper.com.
In the cooler months we head to Florida to dive the crystal clear springs or dive with Manatees.
We are planning a March excursion to dive the Speigel Grove as well as other well known
wrecks in the Keys and then off to Pensacola to dive the newly sunk aircraft carrier the Oriskany.
