Zen of Buoyancy

A divers buoyancy is key to managing air consumption, energy usage, and effectively interacting in the underwater environment. The Zen of Diving class hones the diver's buoyancy control skills. Through the Zen of Diving, participants tune-in on buoyancy control and learn techniques for energy efficient diving. Rum Runner Instructors will help you evaluate current buoyancy control practices, correct inefficiencies, and help you learn techniques to refine your buoyancy control, all while having fun. The course will include swimming through obstacles, challenge tasks, and skills to refine buoyancy control. A great way to get wet in the cold months, have fun, and keep or improve your diving skills.

Try Scuba

Do you have an interest in Scuba Diving, but aren't sure about the whole "breathing underwater thing"? Well why not give it a try. We provide a introduction to diving and dive gear. Then we put you in scuba gear and help you swim in a shallow pool. Nervous? Well all you need do is stand up.
